The BMI calculator caters for both metric and imperial dimensions.
Firstly, select the first tab called 'BMI'. Then, select whether you are using 'Metric' or 'Imperial'.
Enter in your height in the two boxes as the labels state (for instance m and cm for metric, or feet and inches for imperial.
Then enter in your weight in kilos for Metric, or pounds for Imperial.
Press calculate. The output will show you your BMI and the corresponding Weight band you are in. Please note this is just an estimate.
The BMR calculator is located on the second tab and calculates your Basel Metabolic Rate which represents the calories you would burn if you stayed in bed all day.
To do so, fill in your height and weight as per the instructions previously.
The enter in your age in the 4th box.
Select whether you are Male or Female and press 'Calculate'.
This will show you your BMR, please note this is just an estimate.
Please note that there are many different ways to assess your weight and this App is only one estimate. If you have any concerns, you should contact your GP or nutritionalist who will be able to accurately assess your individual circumstance as unlike this App, they are qualified to assess this.
